Bless her Orphanage

The suitcases are slowly filling. Visas are ready. Paperwork is organized and filed. Hearts are eager! We are meeting our sweet Bree soon- and bringing her HOME.

As we pack and prepare for this exciting trip, we would love to enlist some help from YOU. One thing we will do when we pick up Bree is bless her orphanage with gifts. I can’t even imagine the emotions we will feel as we take Bree out of the orphanage forever.

Joy. Yes! She will leave an orphanage and be welcomed into a home.

Sadness. For sure. The sweet brown eyes of all the other children- waiting- wondering. When will my family come for me?

So, let’s bless them. We need to bring an “empty” suitcase for shopping in India, but we really don’t want to take an empty suitcase. We want it full of gifts for the children to leave at Bree’s orphanage. And we would love for you to take part in this blessing. We will be collecting items through the end of this month.  If you need our address, message us! Possible donation items include:

·      Fun band-aids

·      Clothing: NEW (not used) for all ages and sizes. Summer clearance items would be perfect for that year-round India heat!

·      Toys/games/activities: crayons, coloring books, puzzles, sturdy toys that can be used by large numbers of children

·      Treats: suckers, hard candy

Finally, thank you for praying fervently for our family through this adoption journey. May I leave you with one specific request?  PRAY that her passport will be received by the end of this month- September- so we can finalize travel preparations and travel early October.
